Food lovers weekend / Gourmet weekend in the French Alps

An opportunity to taste some delicious French food, drink some delicious French wines, relax in the beautiful settings of the luxurious Chalet l'Ecuela and enjoy the surrounding mountains and forests of the French Alps, near Morzine.

Friday 15th- Arrival

19.30 - Welcome drinks and five course dinner with French wine (see menu below)

Saturday 16th

8:30 - 9:30 - Breakfast

10:30 12:00 - Optional mountain walk / hike

13:00-14:30 - 2 course lunch with wine (optional extra)

15:30-17:30 - Optional walk to and visit of the 13th Century Abbaye in Saint Jean d'Aulps

19.30 – Five course dinner paired with French wines (see menu below)

Sunday 17th 

Breakfast and departure or the option to stay on

2 nights accommodation

in the luxurious Chalet l’Ecuela in twin or double, all ensuite


2 Breakfasts and 2 x 5 course dinners - gourmet food cooked by our French chef, all homemade and served with French wines

20 minutes complimentary massage

with possibility to upgrade to a full hour or to book other specific treatments with 10% discount on pre-booking

Relax and unwind

in the chalet sitting room or in the hot tub or play table tennis, table football or pool in the games room

Optional extras:


We can arrange transfer to and from the airport in Geneva or to and from the train station on Thonon les Bains (to be paid directly to the driver)

Guided or free walks / hikes / visits

Explore the valleys and cols of the French Alps with our certified mountain guide or by yourself directly from the chalet with a map. 

Visit the local 13th century Abbaye d'Aulps at the bottom of the hill


2 course lunch with wine for those who wish to return to the chalet
